The Revolving Closet is a consignment store located in beautiful Syracuse, Indiana. The store opened in 2003, and is a popular shopping destination for locals as well as summer visitors.
On a typical day, 400 new items are put into inventory. Therefore, customers are encouraged to visit often as the inventory is constantly changing. Along with consigning previously-new clothing, TRC offers trendy new jewelry and accessories.
The Revolving Closet offers a token at checkout if the customer brings their own bag or elects to not take a bag. The customer then chooses the charity of their choice by dropping the token in a container at the door. The store donates 10 cents for each token received. This began in 2008, and is catching on more and more every day. Many of our customers are concerned about our environment and thank us for offering this at our store. It may be a small step, but it is our contribution to "going green".
