Whippersnappers is owned and operated by Amy Nelson, a Brattleboro native, and her husband Tom. They have two "assistants" who you'll often see at the store, Olivia (age 13) and Cole (age 10).
Amy is a life long consignment and thrift store shopper, who can spot a fabulous brand and great deal at 20 paces. She has taught Lamaze classes for the past 17 years, and currently teaches childbirth, breastfeeding and other classes at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. and Cheshire Medical Dartmouth Hitchcock in Keene, NH.
Tom is a former IT guru (he spent 10 "Dilbert" years in the cubical village at Mass Mutual), and has had a lifelong dream of owning his own business. He is the computer brains and brawn behind our operation. Together we look forward to providing you with top-notch resource for all your children's clothing needs!
